I don’t normally post reviews, but this place was too good not to. The vibe was just so relaxing, and the servers was such a delight! The food was very nice, and not super expensive. If I could give it 10 stars I would
Great hidden gem! We were on the road and looking for a nice place for lunch and Gabriel's Kitchen has not disappoint us! Even if the place were almost full, the lovely staff found us a place. The food was delicious and very different than usual. We were delighted! Thanks a lot!
Absolutely wonderful place to go to for a bite...The food is top notch!!!The cod portions a bit big but the cod itself...just fell apart..moist and a must to have...The batter coating on the fish was NOT oily!! Your portions are big..but that delicious meal would last you for the whole day...My friend had the lamb... Wow...Kudos to the chef for our meal and thank you to the server...your service was great! A smile..attentive and going that extra mile!! I'm just so impressed and would recommend Gabriel's Kitchen in Mountrath!! to all I meet!!
I had the lamb shank and my girlfriend had the steak and prawns, both absolutely delicious! You wouldn't find better food in a 5 star restaurant, I'll be eating here every weekend!

We stopped in at Gabriel's for Saturday lunch. 6 stars out of 5. I had the lamb shank, and I can honestly say it was the most delicious lunch imaginable!Gabriel and his family are lovely people - very patient and kind - nothing is any trouble. Also, my daughter is gluten-free, and they can do loads of options for people with special dietary needs. Gabriel and his wife came out to speak to us. Everything is cooked fresh, so he can do things any way you like.My daughter also loved the quiet ambience, and friendly service.Don't miss it!!
I wish i live nearby!! Even simple veg soup was really delicious. The brown bread I could eat 3 slices. I was too hungry to take picture of the soup….As main i had the lamb shank and i was thinking to take another portion take away for dinner. Super friendly staff. I hope i come back soon!
